The Cougar features a revolutionary new deck with patent pending quick baffles. This deck converts quickly from bagging to side discharge to mulching in minutes, and easily flips up for cleaning and routing maintenance. Blades are driven by belts and reliable Scag spindles.

A rugged 25 hp Kohler Command engine supplies the Cougar with maximum power. Our heavy-duty drive system features a separate hydraulic pump and motor for each drive wheel, giving you the dependability you expect from Scag. A large capacity hopper (10 bushels/90 gallons) means increased productivity for your operation.

Flip-up deck allows easy deck cleaning blade sharpening, etc. Deck flips up to 40" width with ease, utilizing positive latching system for easy cleaning and maintenance.
Two BDP-10 pumps and two cast iron, high torque wheel motors combine to give your a reliable, heavy-duty drive system.	25 horsepower Kohler Command engine offers user friendly design, quick access to filters, engine, and battery. Optional canister type air cleaner has filter restriction sensor.
Dependable Ogura electric clutch offers quick, sure blade stops and smooth blade engagement for longer belt life. Includes a two year limited warranty.	High efficiency centrifugal blower has 50% more air velocity. Large 8" transition tube between the cutter deck and the blower maximize airflow.
Heavy-duty type gearbox drives cutter deck and blower housing, running only when blades are engaged for quieter operation and longer life.	Operator friendly instrument panel includes a conveniently located hour meter, ammeter, ignition switch, mower engagement, choke, and throttle controls.
Patent pending, interchangeable "quick-Baffles" allow you to conveniently convert from bagging to side discharge or mulching in minutes.
