The new Tiger Cub is designed to keep you productive. It features ground speeds up to 10 mph. And with it's unmatched agility, you'll discover how easy it is to maneuver in confined spaces. Scag lets you choose from a 40" cutter deck with a 17 horsepower Kawasaki vertical shaft engine, a 48" cutter deck with a powerful 21 horsepower Kawasaki vertical shaft or 20 horsepower Kohler Command engine.

Of course, our engineers designed the Tiger Cub with ease-of-maintenance and serviceability in mind, too. The Tiger Cub's user-friendly design allows quick, unobstructed access to engine oil and filter, hydro oil, and the battery.

Dependable Ogura electric clutch offers quick, sure blade stops and smooth blade engagement for longer belt life. Includes a two year limited warranty. User friendly design allows quick access to filters and engine for easy maintenance. Fuel capacity of 8 gallons for increased productivity. large fuel tank neck and fuel cap gauge.  All idler assemblies are spring loaded, eliminating the need for service adjustments and ensuring maximum belt life. Sealed bearings eliminate greasing for added convenience. Wide range of cutting heights available. Easy to use foot pedal adjustment from 1" to 5 1/2" without leaving the seat. Heavy-duty drive system uses time-tested design for dependability. Two BDP-10 pumps and cast-iron high torque wheel motors ensure reliable power. Operator friendly instrument panel includes a conveniently located hour meter, ammeter, ignition switch, mower engagement, choke, and throttle controls.
