Higher RPM (220) provides superior hole clearing and better cutting action with carbide blades. Lower RPM (150 to 125) produces the greater torque necessary for digging in rocky or clay soil and also when drilling holes deeper than six feet.

One-Man Handle
Choose the Labor-saving One-Man Handle for ordinary drilling tasks. Depending on soil conditions, one man can effectively use an auger and one extension up through 8 inches in diameter. Larger auger diameters (9 through 16 inches) indicates the need for a two-man handle, as the combined weight of auger, dirt, and extension may be too heavy for one operator.

Two-Man Handle
Little Beaver's Two-Man Handle is particularly effective when drilling large diameter holes to depths of six feet, 12 feet (or deeper) for applications such as utility work. it can be used with all larger diameter augers and additional extensions.

Anchor Handle
The Anchor/Foundation Handle, when combined with the standard high-torque (360 foot-pounds) Little Beaver 60 RPM motor, is excellent for anchoring down mobile homes or for light utility work. When paired with the higher rotation 125 RPM or 150 RPM motor, the Little Beaver Anchor Foundation Handle is perfect for foundation work.
